Cindy Greenstein "I am passionate about photographing the beautiful side of the universe, and creating beautiful art with my photographs. For me, it isn't about photographing something to commemorate it, its about creating a beautiful piece of artwork flowing with happy, peaceful energy. My Photographic Artwork is created from my heart, with the intention to nourish the viewer's mind, body, and soul. I have been an artist my whole life, and became serious about photography as a teenager. I studied both art and photography in college, and my photography has become my art. Growing up, my father was an engineer at Poloroid, and we always had beta cameras to test before they went on the market. I never realized what an impact that would have on me. In college, I had the most wonderful Photography professor, Shadi Damon, who taught me the most wonderful lesson - how to see things from different and unexpected angles. He would take us to the North End of Boston, and we would actually lay down on the street and photograph upward - that changed my whole perspective - literally. My mother was an Interior Designer, and as well as being passionate about creating beautiful and unique environments, she always pointed out beautiful things that were right there in front of us, that most people wouldn't notice unless someone, like my mother, said "look at that!" She taught me how to "see". That way of seeing is maybe genetic for me, but is definitely etched in my soul, and I hope I have taught my children to see and feel the beauty of the universe in this way also.

I am a Yogi, both practicing on and off the matt. I discovered Yoga 10+ years ago, and it was a complete game changer for me. From the first class, I was immediately drawn to the physical and spiritual teachings of Yoga, and I feel so fortunate to have it as my life foundation.

I have owned and operated Picture This! Event Photography (www.picturethiseventphoto.com) for 16years, I have photographed hundreds of Weddings and Bar Mitzvahs, family portraits, senior yearbook portraits, dogs, babies, professional portraits and corporate events. My true passion is Photographic Art, which will be continually posted to this gallery, and can be purchased as prints, canvas gallery wraps, framed prints, and some beautiful home decor products including pillows, shower curtains, and beautiful towels.
